Excerpt from a letter received from a program participant:
We are a husband and wife with 3 little angels that we commonly call our children. We were directed to PACT because we were in need of help with our car repair. We arranged to meet with one of your staff at 10:00 AM the very next morning. When we arrived we were greeted and directed to the right area before we could even get inside! Once inside, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very conducive to parents and children. We were comfortable and welcomed. This is outstanding because throughout the profusely painful 4-year hardship (understatement), we have been forced to seek help in many different places. Unfortunately in most of these places, we've encountered treatment that only added to our despair. This was NOT the case at PACT. We were never once disrespected or condescended to by any PACT representative. Our questions were politely answered. Your staff was both professional and caring. She really did listen to us. When she counseled us concerning our budget, it was not with accusation. She told us what would happen next and what was our part to play. I really want to thank the PACT family for the help they gave us and most of all, how they gave it to us. They made us feel a part of them - like our family joined their family. PACT came through for us.
