Family Fun Day was Saturday, April 25, at Rhodes Ferry Park from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. This annual fundraiser was sponsored by PACT Board of Directors in order to fund our programs. For the 7th year, Decatur Parks and Recreation will co-sponsored the event. Families enjoyed all day entertainment from local groups/organizations, as well as a variety of activities including face painting, ring toss, sand art, children's art village, diaper derby and toddler trot, inflatable slide, and moonwalk. This year, we will also had our 3rd annual youth talent contest in conjunction with the Midsouth Fair, with a record number of contestants. Refreshments included chicken sandwiches, tamales, shaved ice, hot dogs, candy, drinks, and delicious, fresh baked goodies from Decatur Charity League. This was an excellent opportunity for families to spend time together.
